A POLICE OFFICER BEEN CALLED FOR A GAS LEAK, AFTER MAKING SURE THAT THE FAMILY WERE NOT IN ANY DANGER, HE HAD PLAYED WITH THE KIDS
When it was the Valentine’s Day of 2019, Iesha Roper-Boswell called the authorities, that she had smelled gas in the house, and wanted someone to come and check.
South Hill Police Cpl. C.B. Fleming had came to her need for assistance, and made sure that everything is in order.
Later on, while they were having conversation, Iesha had said to the officer that her daughter and niece were afraid of cops. When officer Fleming heard that, he did something that no one would expect.
“I was telling him that my daughter, my niece, and some of the other children here were afraid of cops.” Iashe had stated.
“So when he came and played with them, I captured that moment, not because I thought it would go viral, but it was amazing that my niece didn’t break out into tears.”
“When I got into this job, I knew there was something different, other than just writing tickets and being the bad person all the time,” said the officer who was in the service for 15
“I figured if I could be that bright spot in someone’s day, then that’s all that mattered.”years.
Iesha had said, “He’s awesome. That’s the only word you can really use to describe C.B.,”
“It’s just amazing, the bond he has with the children.”
