For two month, with his dog, Tim got stranded on the ocean, as they waited to be rescued from their situation.
He ate raw fish in order to stay alive, and drank rain water with his dog.
They were found by a fishing ship, that belongs to Grupomar/Tuny on 12th of July, and rescued in Eastern Pacific Ocean, 1,200 miles away from the closest shore.
Doctor on the ship had examined the dog and Tim, and stated that both of them are in good conditions, and has normal vital signs.
“I have been through a very difficult ordeal at sea,” Tim said.
“I’m just needing rest and good food because I have been alone at sea a long time. Otherwise, I’m in very good health.”

“I’m feeling alright. I’m feeling a lot better than I was, I tell ya,”
“To the captain and fishing company that saved my life, I’m just so grateful. I’m alive and I didn’t really think I’d make it,”
“Also knowing, for example, as Tim did, that during the heat of the day you need to protect yourself because the last thing you want when you’re in danger of becoming dehydrated is to be sweating.” Mike Timpton said, a professor of human and applied physiology at the University of Portsmouth.
“Just imagine how dark and lonely it would feel out there at nighttime,” he continued, and added, “may well have made the difference…You’re living very much from day-to-day, and you have to have a very positive mental attitude in order to get through this kind of ordeal and not give up.”
“People need to appreciate how small the boat is and how vast the Pacific is. The chances of someone being found are pretty slim.”
“It has to be a slow return to normal and he will probably need to be kept an eye on for several months,”
