A MAN ASKED THAT IF HE WAS WRONG, AS HE RUINED A BIRTHDAY PARTY THAT HELD IN THE APARTMENT’S POOL, AND NOW THE PARENTS ARE FACING EVICTION

A Redditor, u/Shot_Climate3917, shared his story on Reddit’s r/AITA subreddit. The OP stated that he is living in an apartment complex, that consists a poo inside, as there are no lifeguards monitoring the pool.

OP wanted to have fun with his boyfriend at the pool on that day, but, the pool was crowded, due to the birthday party, as he didn’t recognize any familiar faces at the pool, and there were many hispanic people at the pool, as the OP stated.

As he started to investigate the reason for that crowd, he learned that the birthday party caused it. The OP stated, “Our complex technically has a rule that all non residents must be checked in at the office to use the pool, but there’s no way they enforce this and nobody really pays attention to that rule. BUT a whole ass birthday party?!”

Another couple from the complex, their neighbors had stated their dislike towards the event, and OP’s boyfriend stated that they should head to the front office of the apartment complex.

An hour had passed, and they saw that the guests were leaving the pool, as the front office did something. On the next day, they saw a note on their door, and OP stated that “The note called us a**holes for what we did and now said they are under a “lease review” where the office could decide to evict them if they want. So they thanked us for potentially getting a poor, small family kicked out.”

Then OP decided to talk with his neighbors, and he stated that he was not the only person who was displeased with the situation and added, “if we didn’t do it they would have eventually gotten caught. I also told them that whatever happens is their own fault for blatantly breaking the rules.”
