A LOVING FATHER HAD SAVED HIS DAUGHTER FROM BEING ADOPTED, AS HER MOTHER GAWE UP FOR ADOTION, WITHOUT THE FATHER’S KNOWLEDGE
Christopher Emanuel, from South Carolina, had fought for the custody of his daughter, back in 2014, as she was put on adoption by her mother, without her father’s knowledge.
Christopher had feared that he would never see his daughter again if he loses the custody battle with the mother of the daughter.
He had stated that his girlfriend had lied about his daughter’s birth, and he added that he was ready to became a father for his daughter.
As he felt the pain, when he found out that the mother pof his daughter had put her up for adoption, he immediately took action, and filed a custody fight at the Aiken County.
After fifteen days from the birth of Skylar, his daughter, he had found out that he was a father, and added his name on her birth certificate, and at that time, he found out that the mother of his daughter had put Skylar for adoption.
When that happened, he also found out that Skylar was already living with her adoptive parents in San Diego, California, and Christopher acted out that he is the father, and he had no intentions of giving his daughter away.
“It was my first child, and at the time, you know, I’m going to be there. We’re going to do everything we got to do. It was in my heart that despite anything, I’m going to be there. I’m going to do what I got to do.” Christopher said.
As he was preparing a babyshower for his daughter, mother of Skylar never showed up, and he had a research for his daughter, as he saw that Skylar was on the adoption list.
“My daughter was stolen from me, I asserted my rights. My rights were stripped of me. But not only that, now I’ve got to prove myself for my daughter.” Christopher said.
Mother of Skylar, also tricked the adoptive parents, as she stated that the father of Skylar, was not involved with his daughter, and will be stay away. But it was not the case, since Christopher was already ready to be a father.
After three months, he had his daughter back.
“I felt her breath for the first time, seeing her eyes, seeing her touch. It was like I lost a part of me. I was lost; I was so lost, and I felt complete. I felt whole again.” Christopher said.
