A BABY BORN WITH THE TONGUE SIZE OF AN ADULT HUMAN BEING, AS IT WAS THREATENING HER LIFE

Newborn baby, Paisley Morrison-Johnson, was born with a condition, as her tongue was sized like an adult’s tongue, which was threatening her life, as her doctors were concerned that she might suffocate.

When mother, Madison Kienow had her ultrasound, they saw that their baby girl was sticking her tongue out, and said, “Oh cute, she likes sticking her tongue out.”

But when she gave birth to her daughter, the worrying condition revealed itself, as the doctors stated that it could be a life threatening conditions, that she might suffocate.

As she had received a c-section, she didn’t saw her baby immediately. She had explained;

“It was a really emotional. It’s still emotional. I got to see her, but I was being stitched up, and they just wheeled an omni bed over to me, and there I saw her, you know, just tubes and cords.”

Doctors didn’t knew what caused the condition on her tongue, so they had went to an expert at Sioux Falls. After a while, they had found out that her condition was diagnosed as, Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.

Madison had stated, as she was worried, “I was blaming it on me. What did I do during my pregnancy that was wrong? But it was nothing that I could have prevented. It was just what she was born with. Jesus wanted me to have something a little extra special.”

After the diagnosis was made, they had took little Paisley to the surgery three months later, to give little baby a smaller sized tongue, as she should have.

“Wow, that was quite the surgery!” Her doctors said to Madison.

After her surgery, the baby had normal sized tongue, as she should, and her doctors ensured that the tongue is a muscular organ, and it grows, so they do not have to worry about anything that related to her tongue.

“It always looked like she was making silly faces,” Madison recalled the faces her baby was making before her surgery.

“She couldn’t even make the sounds to say words like ‘mama’ and ‘dada’ before because of the size of her tongue, so this feels like a massive achievement.”

“She is growing up, and she has so much spunk and personality and love. She’s just amazing.” Madison added.
