After a 4-year-old boy was reported missing, the police officers found the boy outside Buena Vista Township in New Jersey, in the woods. As the reports from 28 March, 2023, are suggesting, the boy spent the night in the woods, where his loyal friend, a black Labrador stayed with him.
When the rescue team was in the forest, they heard a child crying for help, and then found him right next to his loyal friend.
The search party had left the woods with the 4-year-old boy and his dog.
As the bodycam is proving, the child was crying and when he saw the troopers, he opened his arms as he was relieved. His loyal friend stood by him, and followed the troopers once they were rescued.
“We are thankful to report that due to the quick response of the troopers and his mother, the terrified child was safely located and in good health,” New Jersey State Police stated.

Last night, troopers from Buena Vista Station responded to the report of a missing child in Buena Vista Twp., Atlantic County.
A 4-year-old boy and his black Labrador had wandered away from his house.

After the bodycam footage was released, many social media fans had shared their comments about the dog as, “This beautiful dog protected him and stayed by his side,” “Give this dog an award!” “Great dog!”
