JENNIFER ANISTON’S RELATIONSHIO WITH HER ESTRANGED MOTHER
As an incredible actress, Jennifer Aniston is also a fan favorite star. Throughout her illustrious career, Aniston has proved that she’s one of the highest-paid actresses in the business.
As her career did, her private life also hit the headlines once or twice, as her marriage and divorce with the iconic actor Brad Pitt was one of the most talked subject of Hollywood once, after her separation her relationship with her mother had changed.
Aniston and her mother, Nancy Dow were not on the best terms as daughter and mother. For the most of Aniston’s adult life, Dow was absent, despite Anison’s monetary efforts to save her mother’s financial status.
As Aniston is private about her own life, she had talked about her life and revealed the relationship between herself and her estranged mother.
As Aniston was promoting her 2018 movie “Dumplin,” where she was giving life to her character Rosie, an old pageant queen who is leading the town’s young beauty pageant in the movie. She is the single mother of Willowdean or Will, whom she calls Dumplin.
Will is overweight, and is sad because her mother is chosing other pageant gilrs over her, and Will enters to the competition. And from the movie story, Aniston had remembered her own childhood.
The famous actress shared that her mother never looked at the things she had done, as Dow was sad that her daughter didn’t turned out to be the model child she wanted. Aniston stated that she only wanted her mother’s love.
She was nine when Aniston learned that her father, John, had left Dow. More than a year Aniston didn’t saw her father. Nancy and John were together from 1965 to 1980.
Dow was a hars critique when she would talk about her daughter, Aniston. As the actress stated, her mother’s criticism never came from hatred, instead it was her way of communicating in love, but it was wrong no matter what.
In 2015, Nancy Dow passed away at the age of 79, and Aniston learned that her mother didn’t left her anything, which was heartbreaking for the actress. Shortly before she passed away, Dow had changed her will and left her belongings and properties to another relative from her daughter.
As the reports are suggesting, Aniston stopped talking to her mother in 1996, after Dow gave an interview about her daughter in a TV show called, “Hard Copy.”
Three years later, Dow published her memoir, “From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir,” as Aniston didn’t wanted her mother to reveal the detail of their separation.
Despite the coldness Aniston is feeling towards her mother, she had helped her with the bills of Dow, which she was not able to pay them. Even though Dow received help from her daughter, she left her condo and her wealth which was over a million, to another relative.
In 2011, after Dow suffered a stroke, Aniston went to visit her mother, and their last meeting was was two weeks prior from Dow’s passing. As it was reported, Aniston had attended to a private ceremony in the name of her mother.
