MOTHER-IN-LAW WHO WAS CRITICISING EVERYTHING, ASKED HER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW TO BRING A CAKE TO HER 60TH BIRTHDAY, AS SHE CREATED ANOTHER DRAMA WHEN SHE SAW THE CAKE
For the birthday party of her husband, she made a magnificent red velvet cake with three layers. As everyone was amazed with it’s look and taste, her mother-in-law had harshly criticized her cake, as she said that taste was similar to a dish sponge. She was incredibly sad, when her mother-in-law made a terrible comment for her hours of effort.
Two months later, her mother-in-law shocked her, with a request of cake for her 60th birthday party. She said, “Of course, you won’t charge me for it. I’m your husband’s mom and deserve a decent cake.”
As she was hurted from the harsh comments of her mother-in-law, she was surprised that she wanted something from her, and wanted to teach her a lesson.
She wanted to make a statement, without even talking. She arrived at the birthday party with a huge covered cake, when she presented the cake, which was made out of dish sponges, and decorated to be seen as a normal cake, everyone gasped.
Then the mother said, “My mother-in-law wanted to have a wonderful cake for her birthday. But the ones I bake taste exactly like dish sponges, according to her. So, help yourself.”
As people were laughing, mother-in-law was incredibly embarrassed, which led her to throw a tantrum. As she started to tell that she ruined her birthday, embarrassed her in front of her whole family and friends, then started to cry. The daughter-in-law left after that.
Two weeks later, her husband wanted to intervene, as he visited his mother he stated that for their family, she needs to talk. Then few days later, mother-in-law talked with the woman. They had an honest conversation, where they talked what they disliked and what they expected from each other.
Then it created a point in their relationship, where they started to have normal conversations, and there were no mean comments from mother-in-law to the woman, as they had a normal relationship, after their conversation.
