The wife was devastated, when she learned that she was infertile at the doctors office, when she went there with her husband, Alex. After a while, the couple decided to adopt, and started their adoption process.
But later, they learned that her mother went to the office, and stated that her daughter and son-in-law is unfit for the process, as they are emotionally damaged by their statys.
She was devastated again, as she expected the support of her mother, her mother tried to jeopardize their adoption process. With her husband, they were shocked, as they couldn’t understand why her mother is acting that way. Then they decided to talk with her mother.
Her mother stated that she is thinking that they are not ready for adoption. After the failed pregnancies, she believed that her daughter was in emotionally not stable, and she said that they would hurt themselves, or the baby they are going to adopt.
As she tried to reason with her mother, as she explained that she is emotionally stable, and ready to be a mother to a children, and love the baby they would adopt no matter what. But her mother wasn’t listening, as she already decided on her mind.
After several weeks, the adoption officer called the family, and stated that even with the interference of her mother, they found their process worthy of adoption, and they were approved. The couple were over the moon. They immediately started to organize their nursery, and started to study on how to become a parent.
The day the couple held little Alex in their arms, was the happiest day of their lives. Alex was an incredibly smart kid, as he was smiling all the time. The wife explained that her husband, Robert, was a natural father, as he was great with Alex.
But there was a problem. Her parents didn’t came to meet with Alex yet, as her mother was against her adoption. The woman stated that she wanted her parents to be there for Alex, as his grandparents.
After months, when holiday season came, she wanted to contact to her parents, as she invited them to meet with her son. As she was nervous, her parents had accepted the invitation. As her mother saw Alex, she immediately changed her mind, and fell in love with the boy.
The evening filled with laughter, as she felt that she was wrong as she tried to block her daughter’s adoption process. As her parents played and spend time with her son, she was grateful that Alex had brought the family back together.
Before the night was over, the mother wanted to talk with her daughter, in private, and cried as she hugged her, apologized because she was wrong in her actions.
And from that day on, they became a great family once again, where Alex had grew to be an incredibly kind young man.
