POLICE OFFICER CALLED BY HER BOSS, WHEN SHE HAD BREASTFEED THE ABANDONED BABY
In 2018, as the police officer, Celeste Ayala had heard a the cry of an abandoned baby, as she was in an hospital, she had decided to comfort the baby, as she had breastfeed him.
She was at the Sor Maria Ludovica children’s hospital in Buenos Aires, as she was dutied at the hospital. When she heard the cries of an abandoned baby, she had acted through her maternal instincts, and breastfeed the baby.
“I noticed that he was hungry, as he was putting his hand into his mouth, so I asked to hug him and breastfeed him.” Ayala had stated.
As the staff had permitted her to feed the baby, she had acted immediately, and feed the baby, without caring about her officer uniform.
Her partner from the force, Marcos Heredia, took her picture as she was breastfeeding the child, and shared it on Facebook, with an emotional note. “I want to make public this great gesture of love that you made today with that baby, who you did not know, but for whom you did not hesitate to act like a mother.”

The post went viral after being shared, and once the authorities had learned about the situation, her boss had called her for a talk.
The minister of security of Buenos Aires had praised her action, as they stated, “That’s the type of police we’re proud of, the police we want.”
