Boyle was an unemployed woman ın 2008, that was searching for her luck at the Britain’s Got Talent, where she mesmerized everyone with her voice, as she sang the I Dreamed a Dream from Les Misérables, which made Simon Cowell emotional.
“I used to be a kind of spectator looking outward at the world. But now I’m part of that world and, though frightening, I’m going to embrace it,” Susan had stated.
In the first year of her famous life, she made $6.8 million. Nowadays, she is renovating the childhood home she had grew.
She doesn’t left anything from her wonderful character, as she reached to the stars in just one night.
She is still living at her childhood home in Blackburn, Scotland. She bought the house back in 2010.
”It’s best to be grounded and with your roots. It keeps you grounded and prevents you from saying things maybe you shouldn’t say,” Boyle had stated.
She had renovated her beautiful house, where she had amazing memories from her childhood. She now has an incredible piano room where she works.
“That’s a giggle for a start because I can’t even do scales,” Boyle joked.
She created a lot space for herself, as she renovated her house. On the walls of her living room, there are old pictures from the times that she lived in the house with her family and siblings.
The awards she had received are on thewalls too, along with the animal ornaments that are adding a cuteness to the room.
She had renovated the room she was staying with her two sisters. As she lost her father in the 90s, she stayed to care for her mother, until she lost her life in 2007.
“Some people seem surprised that I choose to stay in my family home. Why shouldn’t I? I feel Mum is still here and there are so many good memories … I’ve spent most of my life in this house and I won’t move now, because I feel it’s part of my new history,”
When she was asked about marriage, and sharing her home with someone, she had stated that she is waiting for the “Mr. Right.”
As she stated, she always wanted to be a mother to her own children.
”I’ve never had any of my own, that’s my biggest regret, but I love kids. They’re good fun to be with,”
“I’ve a lovely house, why not share it?” she added.
