BOBBY SHERMAN, AND HOW HE LEFT HIS CAREER FOR HIS CHILDREN

The versitale famous man, Bobby Sherman, who is an actor, singer and a songwriter had a sacrificing life.

He was the teen love of the 60s, and 70s. He was the young man that loved by many with his songs, also he acted on several movies like, “Here Comes The Bride” and “Patridge Family.”
“It was so hectic for three years that I didn’t know what home was.”
He met with his wife on an accident. Patti Carmel, his wife, and one of her friends were on the same building as Bobby. They had started their relationship not long after.
They had two sons together, Tyler and Christopher. He was there when his son, Tyler was born.

As he stated, he had never drink or smoke in his life, as he said that he never got into it. But on his older ages, he wanted to be seen non-smoker or drinker by his sons, so they would follow his steps.
His marriage ot Carmel ended in 1979, and he stayed close to his sons after their separation with his wife.
He had a terrible stalker, Ethel Richard. She was following him since she was a teen. She had sent him many cards, that were saying she wanted to meet.
As he was staying on his Encino home, his doorbell ranged at the 3 p.m., it was Ethel. He called the police and she got arrested.

He had left his career to stay close to his children, and became a EMT. “Eventually, if I’d be driving down the street and there was an accident, and there was no medical help on hand, I’d get out and, since I usually had some stuff with me, I’d help.”
In 1992, LAPD had called him to join them, later he became a police officer in the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.
“It’s a labor of love to be able to teach these officers how to patch people up. There’s not a better feeling in the world than knowing these people are out there, helping someone out, saving someone’s life.”

After 25 years, in 1998, he had a part in the show, “The Teen Idol Tour”, along with Peter Noone and former Monkees TV costars Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones.
In 2011 he married again, with Brigitte Poublon. Togethet they had created the Bobby Sherman Volunteer EMT Foundation to help people on the Southern California.
“I made a decision to give myself a break and do stuff I wanted to do. Being a teen idol afforded me so many different things in my life. God bless the fans. They made me a teen idol, and I wouldn’t change a thing.”
