WOMAN LEAVES HER TWINS, COMES BACK WHEN SHE BECAMES A RICH WOMAN, 15 YEARS LATER
Tandy Freebody was born into a family of a drunk father, and a hard religious mother. She became pregnant at the age of 16, and she tried to hide it, because in her mother’s eyes, she would be commit a great crime and sin.
But one day, she couldn’t and her mother had found out that she was pregnant, as she said,
“Tandy Halloran Freebody!”
“What have you done?”
“I’ll beat the devil’s spawn out of you!” her mother said, as she held a belt in her hands.
“No, mama!” Tandy said, “You’ll hurt the baby!”
“How dare you, you sinner!” her mother said.
And as soon as she found an opening, Tandy had escaped and runned, until she arrived at the bus stop.
She had her mother’s purse with her, and there was $300 in there. It was not a lot but it would be enough for her to go to the New York.
It was her dream to be a star, and that is why she wanted to go there, because in there, you could be anything you want.
She had lived in the streets for a while, as a pregnant sixteen year old girl. A woman had said to her that in free clinics, she might get some prenatal vitamins, but as she heard that the doctors needs some tests, she changed her mind.
Later on, she gave birth to twins. A beautiful boy and a beautiful girl.
She had thought that she should leave the babies, even if it hurts, because she thought that her babies wouldn’t survive on the streets, and she escaped from the hospital.
She left a note on her bed that was written, “I love my babies but I can’t take care of them right now. Please, look after them. Their names are Peter and Mary, cause these are holy names and I guess they need to be safe from sin and danger.”
“I can’t protect them right now. I will try to come back for them, but if I can’t, please tell them I love them so much. I leave them so they will be safe.”
She had cried for a while, as she lost her babies when she left them. And then remembered that she could be anything she want.
After a couple days later, she found a guitar with 12 strings. After a while, she had learnt some things to play on the guitar, and tried to make some money with her talent.
She started to sing her own songs in the subway.
One day, someone had said to her, “Hey man, you’re trending on YouTube!” as he was showing her that he is taping her.
“Me? On YouTube?” she asked. The man showed her that she had millions of views on YouTube. On the same day, a TV channel had an interview with her.
“Honey, I like your song.” Said the anchor woman on TV.
“Which one?” said Tandy, as she started to sing some on live.
After a while, she had made a name as a singer, and became famous, as she went up on the charts with her songs.
Then she started to look for her kids, and found them, on the garden of a house, where they play with their mother and father, who adopted them.
She saw that her children were living a life that she never had, and were happy. As she was lost in her mind, thinking she heard a voice.
“Lady, are you OK?” said her daughter Mary.
“Yes, I’m fine,” said Tandy.
“I guess I’m sad because I have to leave something behind,” she added.
“Listen, my brother and I lost our mom when we were babies. She had to leave us so we’d be happy,” Mary said.
“But we know she loves us always. I’m sure the person you left knows you loved them too, and the love is all that matters.” She added.
“The love is all that matters.” Tandy said.
When the children became 18, she had met with them again with tears.
“Honey, are you OK?” Tandy asked.
“No, I’ll never be OK again, never.” Mary answered.
“Why not?”
“I’m pregnant, and I want to have my baby and marry my boyfriend, but my parents…They think I’m too young to have this baby. They think it will ruin my life…” said Mary.
“Listen, I’m sure your parents are very worried right now, so why don’t I take you back home. Talking about things is the only way to resolve them.” Said Tandy.
They went back to Marry’s house, and knocked the door.
“Oh baby, where have you been?” said Mary’s adopted mother, as she was crying.
“Who are you, lady, and what are you doing in our house?” said her father.
“I’m Mary and Peter’s mother and I’m here to help in any way I can.” Tandy explained.
She told her story, how she escaped, how she gave birth and left, and how she made money and became rich.
“But now,” she said and added, “maybe I finally can help. I have a big house, I can take care of your baby Mary if you want to have it, you are not alone like I was. You have two families to support you.”
Mary had married with her boyfriend, and lived in the Tandy’s house, and Peter became a musician like his mother.
