Suzanne Somers is a strong name in the entertainment business. With her role in “Three’s Company”, she had received her breakthrough as an actress.
Back in April of 2023, as she was an active person about a healthy life stlye, she was talking about her organic food. She was seemingly weak in the video she had shared from her social media account.
The most worrying thing for her fans that she was sitting, as if she was paralyzed in the video, due to her weakness.
There were many comments regarding her condition, and fans were worried about her, as they had stated in their comments.
One of her fan had stated, “Somebody stop them. She’s definitely struggling. Is it that important to push these products? Enough already.”
“Please seek help.”
“What I notice is that she is always sitting down, and she does not look well. I feel bad I really do,”
“I love her but she does not seem the same lately not same spunk, seems to be struggling.” Were some other comments she had received.
Back in 2001, she was diagnosed with breast cancer, as she was having her annual mammogram. They had found a tumor in her right breast, and she had learnt the terrible diagnosis at that moment.
“I believe this happened to me because I was a sex symbol — whatever that is.” She had stated.
“I honestly believe I will die if I do what you tell me.”
She was against chemothreapy, but accepted other treatments as, lumpectomy and radiation. Instead of chemo, she wanted to treat herself with organic nutrients.
“I do my best not to let this insidious disease control me.” She said.
She had moved with different treatments, rather than standart medical treatments. She had received stem cell-based breast reconstruction, and tried many different ways to stay healthy, and get rid of the cancer.
Back in July, her husband, Alan Hamel had announced that she was again diagnosed with breast cancer.
She had given updates on her condition, and health status constantly, as she was battling with her disease again. And the love between Hamel and Somers was a beautiful thing to see. They were sharing their lives for more than four decades.
“Oh my God, I have the greatest husband in the world. I love him, and he absolutely supports me in everything I want to do.” Somers had said about Alan Hamel.
“He brings me great coffee in the morning,” she said also.
“We give each other a lot of attention. That seems simple, but you’d be amazed at how many couples don’t remember to give one another a lot of attention.”
She had lost her life on 15th of October, 2023, as she had spent her final moments with her family, as she was peaceful when she had given her last breath.
“Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years.” Her representative had announced about her passing.
