89-YEAR-OLD SHIRLEY JONES HAD POSTED HER PICTURE WITH HER RED LIPSTICK, HER SON HAD DEFENDED HER ON THE COMMENTS SECTION
The matriarch of “The Partridge Family”, 89-year-old Shirley Jones, was on the spotlight for many years, as she had five children with her late husband.
She had appeared on the classics, like, “The Music Man,” “Carousel,” “Oklahoma!” and “Bedtime Story.”
When it was 2014, she had revealed that she wanted to go skydiving, for the 80th birthday of her.
Patrick, her son, had shared a picture of his parents on the 9th of August, from the vacation of his parents in California.
For her wish for skydiving, Jones had stated that, “That’s something I wanted to do all my life,”
But in April of 2014, her family had intervened, and stated that they would not accept it, since they don’t want to see their mother to do something incredibly dangerous for her.
Even though she is aged like a fine wine, she still uses her makeup, to feel good about herself. When she was 88, in 2022, she had seen in Los Angeles, as she was wearing her pink tracksuit, when she had enjoyed her dinner at the Delmonico’s Steak and Lobster House.
She had married, and had her children with her husband, Jack Cassidy. They had thier sons Shaun, Patrick, and Ryan Cassidy together. After their divorce, Shirley had married with Marty Ingels.
Her son, Patrick had shared a picture with his mother, as he captioned, “So grateful to have you in my life mom. Love you,”
Shirley was wearing her red lipstick in the picture, and that received some comments from their fans.
“She looks amazing!! But please give her a chic hair style – too many older women are given unattractive, almost manly hair cuts out of convenience :/ your mom deserves a cute, chic style [sic],” said a fan.
While one another said, “I totally agree! She’s such a classy lady. She needs a classy haircut come on guys. Get with it [sic],”
Some other had defended Shirley as they said, “[Are] you kidding? How can you look at anything other than the love they have for each other? She’s perfect as is…,”
“What does it mean ‘give her’?( She is not a doll, she makes her decisions herself! She had shot hearcut many times in her life. Who are you to give your advices? Sorry, you sound out of tact [sic],” said another.
Then Patrick had left a comment, as he said, “Yes, she’s had her hair short since the Partridge Family [sic].”
“Your mom is that rare woman who can wear any hairdo and will grace that hairdo with her eternal beauty! ♥️ God Bless her.” A fan had commented under Patrick’s comment.
Shirley loves her family too. She is sharing her family whenever they had a gathering. On the August of 9, the family had gathered for their vacation in California.
“What an incredible vacation in California getting to be with my entire family. Mom, brothers, nieces and nephews, both my sons, and, of course, the love of my life.” Was captioned under the picture.
I’ve raised three wonderful sons who grew up to be great men of character and accomplishment.” Shirley had stated.
“I am an only child, so to have all this family is amazing. You have to enjoy this moment — the now — because that’s really all we have,”
