67-YEAR-OLD JON WALMSLEY HAD LEFT THE INDUSTRY, AND LIVING BY THE SEA WITH HIS WIFE
The Jason Walton of “The Waltons,” Jon Walmsley had starred in the show in 1972.
He met with his wife, Lisa Harrison, as he was struggling with mono. She came with a friend of Walmsley and they had a great connection from the start. Two months later from their first meeting, they moved in together.
Harrison was a great fan of “The Waltons,” and she had a crush on Walmsley. Three years after they started to live together, they got married. “She made me get down on my knees.” Walmsley said.
Ralph Waite, the co-star od Walmsley from the show had officiated the wedding in Malibu, where the full cast of the show had attended.
Erin Walton of the show,, Mary Elizabeth McDonough couldn’t hold her tears back when she saw Walmsley putting his ring on his finger. They were playing the siblings on the show, and they had a great connection.
On the 20th of August, 2022, Walmsley had shared a black and white picture from his Facebook account, where he was playing the guitar next to Ellen Corby. She was playing as the grandmother of Waltons in the show, and she had a special place in Walmsley’s heart.
As didn’t had grandparents in his life, and Corby didn’t had a grandchildren, they were loving each other as if they were related in real life too.
Walmsley had a daughter with Harrison, Brighton Asher. His daughter had followed his footsteps and became an actress. She had appeared in “Take Me with You,” “Harvest Season,” and 2022’s “Shining Vale.”
After thirty years of marriage, Walmsley and Harrison separated their ways in 2008. Before their divorce, Walmsley was always seeing someone.
In 2019, Walmsley had moved to Cornwall, Britain, from California. He is living with his second wife, Marion in there. They didn’t had any children.
“I don’t really get recognized as I changed my look a few years ago and now look quite different than on ‘The Waltons.'” Walmsley had said.
He explained that with his wife, they are in love with the coastal path, the woods and sheep, the farms and cows. They are happy where the couple are living.
They hired a truck to carry their belongings from California to Boston and New York Harbor, and from there a ship brought their belongings, three months later, to Cornwall.
And since, the couple is living their life in joy where they are walking on the coastal paths, next to historical churches and pubs.
In 2018, in his blog post, Walmsley had talked about his life with his wife on their new home. He explained that in a travel, one can understand if the relationship would work or not.

He had praised his wife for being smart and looking better than himself. He had stated that she was the “perfect traveling companion.”
In 2019, he had shared from Twitter as, “Had a wonderful time at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Marshfield, MO with my #Waltons family.”
It was his last time in United States. As he returned to Cornwall, he had shared that “happy to be home again.”
On the 6th of February, Walmsley turned 67. He had stated that he is trying to stay healthy, as he loves hiking.
