“I was all of a sudden in the prison of boarding-school life, and all my friends in New York were having fun,” she saidabout her school time.

“Modeling was not an endgame for me,” she had said.

“I didn’t particularly enjoy the act of it. It’s as ruthless an industry as real estate — the people you meet in that businessare just as fricking tough.”

“I used it as an excuse to travel. I used it as a way to break upthe monotony,” Ivanka added.

“It was great, but it is an annoying source of confusion at thisjuncture in my life. People still constantly ask me, ‘How’smodeling going?’ That’s how they remember me, and I wantto be a little bit more serious than that, ha ha!”

When she was 16, she had made to the Elle magazine, andwas the co-host of Miss Teen USA 1997 pageant.

“I knew that for ‘Trump’ to be sustainable it couldn’t just be about my father,”

“It has to be about us as a family in some broader context, andthe vehicle for that is shows like The Apprentice. That’s why I did it.”

After moving in to the family business, she had became theExecutive Vice President of Development & Acquisitionsat the Trump Organization in a short period.

And met with her husband in 2007, and married in 2009.

“I was too smart to bring home a date or a boyfriend,” shesaid.

“I think I brought home my husband, that’s it ‒ he was not myhusband at the time,”

“But I was not going to subject boyfriends to the scrutiny of my father, or my mother for that matter, unless I was 100 percent sure.”

“My life is chaotic right now,” she explained her busyschedule.

“I’m exhausted 90 percent of the time … Being a mother is the most rewarding experience, but also the most wild andstressful.”

In her father’s presidency, she had worked on, “the educationand economic empowerment of women and their families as well as job creation and economic growth through workforcedevelopment, skills training, and entrepreneurship.”

“I have not spoken to her in a long time. It’s clear that she has supported policies and decisions that I don’t agree with. I’vebeen very vocal about my opposition to President Trump.”Chelsea Clinton said about Ivanka Trump, whom she was a close friend of hers, to Stephen Colbert.

“I think anyone who works for the president certainly shouldexpect to be scrutinized for not only whatever decisions she orhe is making, but also for whatever decisions the White House is making on any given day.”

Also, on Watch What Happens Now, she said, “really hard when there’s someone who’s actively embracing theircandidate, whether it’s their father or not. I don’t want to be friends with someone like that.”

“I have not spoken to her since 2016 and I have no interest in being friends with [her]. We were in touch at the beginning of the [2016] campaign but it’s just really hard when there’ssomeone who’s actively embracing their candidate — whetherit’s their father or not … I don’t want to be friends withsomeone like that,”

Lysandra Orhstrom, her friend from school and journalist, had stated that she had her fill, after media labelled Donald Trump as, “the enemy of the people.”

“I think it’s past time that one of the many critics fromIvanka’s childhood comes forward – if only to ensure that shereally will never recover from the decision to tie her fate toher father’s,” she stated.

“Ivanka hated all the criticism and the threats and wasunhappy about how a lot of their friends turned their back on them,”

“She feels it’s bad for her family … and negative in general in her circle of friends. She wants as normal a life as she can arrange for her and her family.”

Also, while she was working as an advisor in the White House, stores stopped to work with her, and declined her clothing brand.

“I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington,” Ivanka said.

“I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosingto prioritize my young children and the private life we arecreating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics,”

“While I will always love and support my father, goingforward I will do so outside the political arena. I am gratefulto have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’saccomplishments.” She continued.

She also stated how proud she is with her work at the White House, in her father’s presidency. She stated that she was“able to accomplish”

“I think losing a parent definitely leads to a real awakeningthat means different things for different people. For Ivanka, it underscored how fleeting time is,” she said in an interviewwith, New York Post.

“But with all the sadness that came from that time, theconstant refrain in every story that she heard about her mother… was that she really lived: in work, personally andprofessionally; (and like Ivanka) she also left it all on thefield. She was not waiting to have fun at a later date! She wasdefinitely one of a kind and a true force of nature.”

A source also added that, “Ivanka and Jared … were reallyspecific they would not be coming back. They feel like it wasan amazing, extraordinary chapter in their lives—but their exitwas not triggered by one thing.”
