The actress and award winning journalist was born on the 25th of September, 1963. She had appeared in “Norman’s Corner,” “General Hospital,” and “The Opponent.”
After that, she continued with her journalist career and turned to an environmental journalist as she was a celebrity journalist.
At first, she had a modelling career, but that did not lasted long, as she was believing that it was creating a beauty myth. And after her modelling career, she tried acting for a year, but she was not happy with that too.
Then she started to work as an entertainment journalist in her career. She had interviews with many big names like, Mel Gibson, Oprah Winfrey, Michael Jordan, and Madonna.
Huey Lewis and The News paid $1200 for her to appear in his music video, “Stuck With You,” in 1986.
She also became a director at one point in her life, where she had directed “Poisoning Paradise,” as her first job. In 2016, the documentary had aired in Hawaii International Film Festival in Honolulu, and received 11 awards.
For her work for environmentalism, she had received two Genesis Awards, a Special Achievement Award at the Environmental Film Festival, and a nomination from the Environmental Media Association.
She also produced, and hosted the “Home Green Home,” for PBS, and published her book, Gourmet Gardener.
As she had this career with various options, she is also a doting mother, and a lovely wife. She met her husband in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in 1994. She was working as a correspondent, and she met with her husband.
The actress, model, journalist and director we are talking about is Keely Shaye Smith, who is married with Pierce Brosnan. Together, they met after Brosnan lost his first wife, and mother of her three children, Cassandra Harris. Together with Cassandra, Brosnan welcomed his children, Charlotte, Sean, and Christopher.
Smith was there for interviewing Ted Danson, but he was called away. Then she met with Brosnan at a party, and she fell for him.
Few days later they had a first date, and they fell in love with each other. The couple sat under the stars, and talked for long hours.
As Brosnan fell for Smith, he wanted her to come with him, wherever he was shooting a movie. Brosnan said, “Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good.”
The couple talked about getting married in 2000, but they postponed their date after Brosnan’s boy, Sean was injured in a car accident in 2000.
The couple got married in 2001, instead of 2000. They had married in Ballintubber Abbey, Ireland. The couple had celebrated their marriage at Ashford Castle, for three days.
Still to this day, the couple is in love with each other, where they are not shamed to express their love for one another. Smith stated for her husband, “And, like fine wine, he’s aging beautifully.”
For their 22nd anniversary in 2022, Brosnan had shared a picture of his wife from his social media account, and stated, “My love always, you have made my life one of joy and happiness, light of my life, love.”
And for the 58th birthday of Smith, Brosnan had addressed to her from his social media account again. He wrote, “My beautiful luscious love Keely on her 58th trip around the sun yesterday.”
“When Keely looks at me, I go weak (…). She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without.”
From Smith, Brosnan had two kids, Paris and Dylan.
