TUDOR THEMED HOUSE OF SAMUEL L. JACKSON, WHERE HIS DAUGHTER WAS RAISED IN

Samuel L. Jackson and his wife, his college love, LaTanya Richardson Jackson are together for more than four decades.
In his illustrious career, Jackson had acted in more than hundred movies, which most of them were iconic movies. Legendary actor acted in “Pulp Fiction,” “Star Wars,” and many other Marvel titles.
He met with his wife, when they were students at Morehouse College in Atlanta in 1970.
The couple got married in 1980, and two years later, LaTanya had gave birth to their daughter, Zoe, in 1982.
As Jackson was raised without his father, he had some knowledge of being raised with the absence of a parent. So he tried his best to be a father.

“I’m a good son, a good father, a good husband–I’ve been married to the same woman for thirty years.” Jackson said.
In this four decade of relationship, the couple had come over of any obstacles they faced along the journey, and went through thick and thin.
In many of the interviews, Jackson had expressed his love and respect against his wife, as he said to PEOPLE, “She gave me the chance to be the man I was supposed to be.”
The couple moved from New York to Los Angeles, as they were married in New York, and had a house in Harlem where they were raising Zoe.

As the couple were in search for their acting careers, Richardson received a role from CBS’s Frannie’s Turn. After the offer, the family moved to Los Angeles.
After thirteen episodes later, the show got cancelled, they needed to find another house, because they were economically struggling. The family found their home at San Fernando Valley.
“That’s it, that’s the house.” Richardson explained to Architectural Digest, about her thoughts, when she found her half timber house.
She talked with her husband, Jackson, and their real estate broker. But the house was not in a good shape, as it needed to be renovated with most of the aspects. As the couple already renovated their Harlem house, Jackson did not wanted another economical burden.

But he was trusting his wife’s instinct, so he proceeded and the couple bought the house. Through the help of Cecil N. Hayes, the couple had re-designed their new house.
Hayes stated, “The house speaks for LaTanya and Sam as a total spirit. What you see is exactly who they are.”
Samuel wanted to express their African heritage, so he took help from artists, Jacob Lawrence and Samuel Akainyah about the wall paintings.
Their daughter, Zoe also had painted a portrait for the family, so they had put that portrait on the wall too.

The family chosed rustic model houses to show in the living room, and they put two Moors with onyx faces in their hallway.
They wanted to be proud of their house, so they designed it that way. With both looking traditional, and useful aspects, the family enjoyed from their house.
They wanted a home so their daughter Zoe would love to be inside. They wanted a place of serenity, as Jackson said, “We wanted our daughter to live in a homey environment.”

In 2014, the family sold the house for $2.8 million. After that, the family moved to the 11,738 square foot land, at Beverly Park neighborhood of Beverly Hills, California.
The couple had bought the property in 2000, for $8.35 million, from Roseanne Barr.
