The iconic, legendary name of Hollywood, Tom Hanks, was born in 1967, in Concord, California. His parents had met in a coffee shop that they were working. But after having four children, they had found out that they were not on the same page, and when Hanks was five, they had divorced.
With his older brother and sister, Tom had went with his father, as his younger brother had stayed with their mother.
“Maybe there was a degree of loneliness […] I kind of fell through the cracks and didn’t really have adults per se that were taking care of me.” He said about childhood.
He added that he still cant stand to tomato soup, since they were needed to make their own food inside their father’s roof.
Back in 2002, he was the most influencal man in the Hollywood, as he was followed by Steven Spielberg, Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, and Julia Roberts, on the list of Entertainment Weekly.
After he had received his first Academy Award, with Philadelphia, he had his second next year, with Forrest Gump.
As he was asked about the greatest thing that happened to him, he had stated that marrying with Samantha Lewes and having a child with her, their son Colin Hanks, these are “the greatest thing that ever happened.”
Their love story ended in 1987, after two children they had together. Coling and Elizabeth.
After their divorce, he had many problems, and it took several therapies for him to recover from the divorce that hurted him.
In 1988, he had married with, his current wife, Rita Wilson. “Oh, she gets it. Oh, guess what, I don’t think that I’ll ever be lonely anymore.” Hanks said about her.
They had two more children into their family, as they had children from their previous marriages.
“All you gotta do is love those little brats, and they’re better than TV,” he said this year.
“They’re not little brats; they’re extraordinary young women. They are extraordinary young women.”
Their children Colin and his wife Samantha, had given them their first grandchild, Olivia. And after them, their daughter Chalotte too had gave birth to another grandkid.
