The iconic actress of Charlie’s Angels, Jaclyn Smith, bought her mansion when it was 1991. She raised her children, Spencer-Margaret and Gaston in the mansion. Even though she is a massive star, she always put her children in front of everything, as she tried her best to raise them. She was caring about the privacy of her children.
As she tried her best to keep them away from the spotlight, eventually they appeared on the screens, which she felt that she betrayed her children.
The legendary actress bought her mansion in 1991, that has six bedroom, six bathroom, Georgian colonial mansion in the Holmby Hills of Los Angeles.
She explained, “It’s a great family home with a lot of sunlight coming through the windows, and it’s surrounded by a lot of land.”
The house has a nostalgic theme, as she has a lot of family pictures in. As it is resembling 18th Century style, and a mixture of modern touches.
She had renovated every room of the house. She has a tennis court, a pool, and an office space for her husband, Dr. Brad Allen.
“With the success of Charlie’s Angels, I was finally able to buy my own home, but only what I could afford, a place that needed some fixing up.” Jaclyn said.
She wanted to make sure that the house would have everything they need. She wanted her children to have their own bedrooms, and wanted them to create their own area of relaxation, even if their taste is conflicting with the theme of her house.
She wanted to have an elegant look for her house, as she like floral accents, refnovated chairs, and complexly patterned tiles on the floor.
The enterance has a long staircase, and high ceilings. A huge table with vintage taste is welcoming the visitors. The Jaclyn’s love for flowers can be seen throughout the house. There is a huge mirror above the fireplace. And the mantle of it is filled with antiques and vases.
Dining room has a crystal chandelier, a set of formal wooden dinner table and chairs. There are large columns in the mansion, as the ones in the dining room is chequered patterned.
It was in 2021, when Jaclyn had shared a picture from her garden, where it is filled with roses, and other flowers.
She is keeping her children’s rooms untouched, as they have a lot memories in them, after they moved out for their own lives. She didn’t touched anything, because she wanted to show her children that they still have a room in her house.
For her granddoughter, she had crafted a dollhouse in the garden, so she would enjoy having tea parties with her dolls. The dollhouse is carrying resembling notes from her mansion.
She was married to Roger Davis between 1968 and 1975. Then she married her second husband Dennis cole, and stayed together from 1978 to 1981.
She had her son, Gaston, from her marriage to Tony Richmond, and her daughter Spencer Margaret, between 1982 and 1989.
Thanks to her mother, as Jaclyn said, she met with Brad. He was the heart surgeon for her father, and he became her husband, over their meetings from the hospital.
They married in 1997, and when it was 2017, Jaclyn had stated that she is thankful for her husband, as she stated that they share the same values, upbringing, and spirituality, and the same thoughts.
“I want this one to be my forever,” Jaclyn added.
