INSIDE OF THE HOUSE WHERE RYAN O’NEAL LIVED WITH FARRAH FAWCETT’S PORTRAIT
Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett had a high profile, and shining relationship, as one of famous Hollywood couples. They were together from the moment they met in 1979, until Fawcett passed away in 2009.
In his last years, O’Neal lived in his La Costa, Malibu house, where he was looking throught the paranomic view of the beach under his house, where he walked with his dogs.
He was first married with Joanna Moore. They stayed together for four years, and welcomed two children. Their son Griffin, and daughter Tatum.
Then he married with, Leigh Taylor-Young, and welcomed their only son, Patrick. They separated their ways in 1974, and that was the last time O’Neal was married.
In 1979, he met with Fawcett, where she was married with Lee Majors at the time. As Fawcett and O’Neil had started to develop feelings towards each other, after Fawcett divorced Lee Majors, her husband, she started with her relationship with O’Neal.
As they had their son, Redmond, in 1985, their relationship with ups and downs, continued, as they were never married, and had a high profile relationship in Hollywood, they stayed together until 2009, when Fawcett passed away.
As O’Neal was protective over Fawcett, he tried to convince her to not use makeup, and put her beauty into shadow.
Once, Fawcett had talked about an incident, where O’Neal was overprotective of her. When they ran into Jay Bernstein, Fawcett former manager, they were close to a fight, as O’Neal asked that how was Fawcett looking, and Bernstein said, “To tell you the truth, a little tired.” As O’Neal was offended, he was close to attacking Bernstein.
“We fight, but my opinion is valid, and I stand behind it now.” Fawcett stated.
It was 2001, when O’Neil was diagnosed with Leukemia. The disease brought them closer, as Fawcett became the caregiver of O’Neil.
Then the roles have changed, when Fawcett was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. After three years later, Fawcett lost her life, as she lost her battle with cancer.
And after three years later Fawcett passed away, O’Neal was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He kept fighting until this year, 8th of December, 2023. He passed away at the age of 82. His son, Patrick had announced the passing of his father, as he stated,
“My dad passed away peacefully today, with his loving team by his side supporting him and loving him as he would us.”
It was in 2021, when LUX&Ent had visited O’Neal’s home at the Pacific Coast. He lived with his dogs, Mozart and Raven. And above his bed, there is a portrait of Fawcett.
His house is sitting above the Malibu beach, and the house has the magnificent views of the shores.
The LUX&Ent crew were welcomed at the hiant doors that opened, and they met with O’Neal’s friends, Mozart and Raven. As O’Neal took them inside, the crew were amazed with the view they saw.
O’Neal had loved his furry friends, as he was constantly sharing his dogs, and their moments at the beach together, from their walks.
At the living room, there was a magnificent art work, the giant portrait of Fawcett. It was his tribute to love of his life.
O’Neal welcomed the crew with cheese, grapes, crackers, wine, etc., as he asked, “Are you hungry?”
As he celebrated his 82nd birthday in September of 2020, his whole family came to celebrate with O’Neal.
