For more than twenty years, Sir Elton John and his husband, David Furnish are together. They have two sons, Zackary and Elijah, which they are carefully raised them with great values.
73-year-old legendary singer, Sir Elton had 32 albums in his history, and he is still active on his career.
Even with his career in the industry that is spreading more than three decades, he is also focused on his relationship with his husband, and sons.
Their relationship had started in 1993. When the legendary singer decided to go back to his Windsor house, and get to know new people.
He had asked for his friend to arrange a dinner, so he would met with new people. David Furnish had attended to that dinner too. As his friends stated, together they had bonded pretty quickly.
On the next day, the couple had went on a date. For nine years, they had a partnership, and in 2014, the couple decided to wed.
They had invited people from their social media account. They had their sons as the ring bearers on their special day.
In the 2009, they had contacted with a Ukranian boy, Lev, who was in orphanage for the children with HIV. They had decided to help to boy, as he was coming from a poor family. They couldn’t adopted him, as he was not young enough for government to allow, but helped him.
Sir Elton had thought that he would like to be a father, after his interaction with Lev. As he stated, he never believed that he would become a father, as he was thinking that he was too old.
In 2010, they had Zachary, via surrogate, and in 2013, they had welcomed Elijah.
As both of them were busy with their lives and careers, they were careful with raising their sons. “We don’t want to put the raising of children into the hands of nannies and housekeepers,” Furnish had stated.
From his social media account, Sir Elton had stated, “Zachary and Elijah, you two are the greatest gifts I have ever been given. You have filled my heart with love and my life with purpose and meaning in ways I didn’t think were possible,”
Sir Elton had stated that becoming a parent had changed him, and his life in a good way. He had said that his look towards money had changed too. As he became a father, he had stated that spending time with his children is now more important than having a hit song, or a painting.
Sir Elton had adressed that with his husband, they were having fun spending on the things they enjoy, but when their sons came, they focused on them and on their future.
Also, Sir Elton had stated that they are teaching their kids to the importance of hard working, and earning their own money.
“Of course, I want to leave my boys in a very sound financial state. But it’s terrible to give kids a silver spoon. It ruins their life.”
In 2016, Sir Elton had said that they are giving £3 each, for their errands, and saving the money their children had earned through their errands, for charities.
The couple also wants their kids to live in a good environment, Sir Elton had stated that his sons are living fully, “not stuck behind the gates of a mansion.”
For their famous lives, Sir Elton had stated that public never harrassed their children, and he doesn’t mind their pictures being taken.
He had stated that they like to have dinners, or watching movies outside with their children.
The couple generally doesn’t post pictures of their sons on their social media accounts, but they had a picture with the godmother of their sons, Lady Gaga.
Some fans wrote, “My goodness, the boys are getting tall. Such Handsome little gentlemen.”
