DEREK HOUGH TALKED ABOUT HIS WIFE’S HEALTH CONDITION, WHICH SHE NEEDS A SKULL IMPLANT
The famous name of Dancing with the Stars, Derek Hough, had married with his wife, Hayley Erbert, in 2023, 26th of August.
When it was the 7th of December, 2023, after Hayley Erbert had performed in Washington D.C., she was rushed to the hospital, after she, “disoriented and was taken to the hospital.”
It turned out that a blood vessel was burst, and she was diagnosed with cranial hematoma, which she was taken to a surgery, immediately.
As Hough had talked about his wife’s situation at that time, he stated, “I ask for your prayers and positivity during this time.”
On the 16th of December, Hough had shared a video, where his wife was wearing a medical helmet, after her surgery. Derek stated that his wife’s recovery was, “nothing short of a miracle.”
And that she needed a skull implant, where the doctors had removed from her head, during her surgery after the cranial hematoma which occured after her performance in Washington D.C.
As his wife was needed to be cared, while Dough had a tour ahead, “Derek Hough: Symphony of Dance,” Dough had stated that the tour was postponed, as he announced, “Please keep your tickets to Derek Hough: Symphony of Dance, as they will be honored for the new date once scheduled. Derek stated that he is grateful for the support people are sending them, and stated, “how fragile life can be and how quickly things can change.”
He continued that what happened was an unexpected obstacle on their way, which they will pass through, and keep going. He concluded his message to their fans as, “We love you all. With heartfelt thanks.”
Many of their fans had shared their love and support under the comments section of the social media post.
“Believe me, I cried seeing her walk with you,” wrote one fan, while another one had stated that Erbert is a fighter, and she is shining in her armour.
