They were on the cast of the legendary TV show, Friends. Matthew Perry had passed away at the age of 54, on the 28th of October.
Cox, along with Perry, were on the show with their co-stars, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc. They had released a joint statement regarding the passing of Perry, and stated how sorry they were to lost their beloved friend.
On the 14th of November, Corteney Cox had shared a post from her social media account, about Matthew Perry. She had stated, “I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day.”
Then she continued as, “When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now here’s one of my favorites.”
“To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night fling in London. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.
In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say.
He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind.” she had concluded her post.
She had shared a scene from the show, Friends. And stated how she liked that scene, and it was one of her favourite moments from the show.

Perry had thanked to Cox, in his memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Terrible Big Thing.”
He had stated that Cox was “cripplingly beautiful”, and thanked her for making USA believe that a beautiful woman like her would marry a man like him.
On the show, Cougar Town, they also had a reunion, as Matthew had stated that Cox had helped him a lot when he was dealing with his drug abuse, and alcoholism, while he was on the show, Friends.
One day, his co-stars had gathered around him, and talked with him about his health, and his addiction towards drugs and alcohol.
